La profesora Selene G.G.

Selene has been teaching on the island of Cozumel over 15 years. She began the HOLISTICO CENTER OF COZUMEL 11 years ago, now better known as CENTER FOR YOGA SHAKTI. She has studied under numerous teachers around the world, in order to provide more learning to the community.

Selene is a pioneer in the island for science of Yoga, Taichi of alchemy internal Kendo and various dances. Fundo The Association of Kendo, Iaido and Jodo Edo. Q. ROO of which she is honorary President.

She began her studies in the art of movement and the cultivation of the essence and energy in its various manifestations, from 9 years old. It started with martial arts such as KENDO, TAICHI among others, are simultaneously studying yoga in Great Universal fraternity and the school KUNDALINI YOGA FOR YOGUI BHAJAN. She has studue in various schools of dance as INBA, Space Theatre, Dance Studio, etc. in the D, F, CD.de Mexico and Edo de Mexico.

Later she traveled for several years by in Central America, USA, Europe, Asia and New Zealand in search of more learning and experience. She has learned from several teachers including Kundalini Yoga, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Kundalini Maha Yoga of Shri Dhyanyogui and the Assoc, Spanish Yoga in Daily Life with Swami Sadhvi Yamuna Puri. She learned from Sensei Yoshinara Miyata on the 8th Dan Technical Director of Kendo Kata in the USA.
