This is a Grizzly Industrial model G1010 4"x6" metal cutting bandsaw. I got it because I hate hacksaw work and I am sometimes lazy. However, this machine has turned out to be the best $200 I've spent yet on metalworking tools! It runs well and cuts smoothely. One of its nicest features is the auto-shutoff switch so I can run it unattended as long as I am cutting a material that doesn't need cutting oil.
Harbor Freight has the same machine for $170 and even claims to have a more powerful motor than the Grizzly. It might even be free shipping. I bought mine from Grizzly because I was at their Muncy, PA showroom and it was convenient.
I bought extra blades for it (which are pretty inexpensive at $9 apiece) but after cutting lots of metal I am still using the 18 TPI blade it came with. I use this machine a lot more than I originally thought I would.
Important note: the documentation clearly mentions that this tool should not be used for wood. I also don't feel it is possible to outfit this saw with a woodcutting blade because of the way it has to flex along the blade path.
